The YMCA 21st Century after school program helps students meet state and local student standards in core academic subjects, such as reading and math; offers students a broad array of enrichment activities that can complement their regular academic programs; and offers literacy and other educational services to the families of participating children.
This program serves students in the Rock Falls School District 1st grade through 8th grade
Dillon: 1st – 2nd Grade-Book Buddies and Homework Club.
Merrill: 3rd – 5th Grade- Homework Help and STEM
RFMS: STEM, Drama, and Art
Our program serves Rock Falls students, 1st grade through 8th grade. The children also get to read the same stories as in their classroom to help echo the comprehension skills. This is one of the many great benefits of having school day teachers as teachers in our after-school program.
