Are you ready to be a part of something legendary? Return for our 2026 Spring Season of NFL Flag Football! Here at the Y we’re not just about working out, we’re here to forge memories, build connections and create a team you’ll be proud to be a part of!
NFL FLAG leagues are no contact, giving boys and girls of all abilities a chance to develop their fundamental football skills in a positive, inclusive environment. With a goal to empower young athletes and instill a lifelong passion for flag football, our league is engaging, fun and accessible to everyone and for everyone! Through the NFL’s assistance we are able to provide a rare opportunity for kids in our community built by leaders in our community.
Through community support and your help we can make this program legendary! Volunteer coaches and referees are needed and are encouraged to reach out or stop in at the YMCA!
Scholarships applications available are also at the YMCA
League Information
Registration: July 1st – August 28th
(Registrations received after September 4th are not guaranteed to have a jersey for the first game)
Season Dates: September 7th – October 31st
Age Groups: PK – 5th Grade
Registration Fee: Members $80, Non-Members $100
Practice Locations: Sterling-Rock Falls Family YMCA
1st Grade – 5th Grade will Practice on Mondays at 6pm.

Season Details
September 5th from 9am – 11am: NFL Flag Combine, meet coaches and teammates. Practice drills and test abilities before the season starts!
September 7th – October 24th : Weekly Practice. Focuses on skills and drills, conditioning and learning game plays! The last week of games will our celebration tournament weekend!
October 31st: Championship Tournament. Face against other teams and see if you can take home the win for our 2026 Fall Season! (Tournament winners will receive a photo with the trophy and be displayed at the YMCA until the next season’s tournament.)
