The American Red Cross lifeguarding course is designed to teach you all the necessary skills to be a successful lifeguard. Learn CPR/First Aid and rescue skills.
-Must be at least 15 years of age
-Be able to swim 300 yards continuously with free and breaststroke
-Tread water for 2 minutes with arms and legs and 2 minutes of legs only
-Complete a timed event in 1 minute 40 seconds
Dates: August 14-21 (Breakdown of days/times listed below)
August 7th: Pretest 2:00pm (Bring Swim Suit)
Complete online learning by August 14th
August 14th: CPR/First Aid 12-5pm
August 15th: Entries, Rescues 7-10pm
August 16th: Back & Neck Injuries 7-10pm
August 17th: Backboarding 6-9pm
August 18th: Final Testing 7-10pm
