The Sterling-Rock Falls YMCA’s Certified Personal Trainers are available to Y members as well as non-members. Our personal training program is based on your individual needs and limitations. Only personal trainers who are staff members of the YMCA may provide personal training within the Sterling-Rock Falls YMCA facility. Sessions are offered one-on-one and small group training packages. Sessions must be paid in full before they can be used, and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Sarah Cleary
Health & Wellness Director

Sarah has been part of the YMCA fitness staff since 2018. She is the currently the Health & Wellness Director and teaches Kickboxing, POUND and Power Pump group exercise classes and been involved with our Girls on the Go running program. Sarah became ACE Personal Trainer certified in 2021. She has a passion for functional training and including movements that will make her clients better and stronger with their daily activities. Additionally she also leads a monthly small group Synrgy 360 class. CREDENTIALS: Pound Certified, ACE Personal Trainer Certified, American Red Cross CPR certification.

Celeste Lopez
Personal Trainer
Celeste Lopez is joining the YMCA in 2023. She is an ACSM certified personal trainer and will be attending online college to further kinesiology and anatomy knowledge. Celeste has taken additional courses in functional patterns, and wants to change the way people look at health and wellness. Her areas of focus are functional movement patterns, strength and condition and holistic living.

Ganesa Novak
Personal Trainer
Ganesa has been a part of the Y team since 2015. Currently, she leads Ynot45, FitMix, TRX & Kettlebell fitness classes. She also co-leads a youth running group, Girls On The Go. Her passion is to move and continue moving throughout all phases of life. She strives to empower clients by helping them gain the ability and knowledge to take ownership of their health and fitness by making informed decisions/choices in their daily lives. CREDENTIALS: LPN license, ACE personal trainer certification, BollyX, WerQ, American Red Cross CPR certification.

Daniel Robinson
Personal Trainer
Daniel Robinson is joining the YMCA team in 2023. Daniel earned his certification in personal training through ISSA- International Sports and Science Association in 2022. Daniel has a background of being a competitive athlete, and enjoys training in areas of strength and conditioning. Daniel’s passion for working out is as a stress relief and overall health and wellbeing. Daniel enjoys working with all age groups, from kids to adults, and is excited to help clients reach their goals.

Sterling-Rock Falls Family YMCA Personal Training Guidelines
- Participants must be dressed appropriately and ready to participate at the time of the scheduled personal training session.
- Sessions will start and end on time with no exceptions. After two times of being tardy the trainer has the option of canceling the remaining sessions due to client unaccountability.
- If the client is not ready to participate at the scheduled session start time it will be deducted from their training time for the particular session.
- In the event that the client is unable to attend the scheduled personal training session due to illness, emergency, travel, or any other circumstance that may arise; it is the client’s responsibility to notify the personal trainer twenty-four (24) hours in advance and reschedule the appointment.
- If the client does not notify the personal trainer of their inability to attend a scheduled session at least twenty-four (24) hours in advance, that session will be charged as a regular session and neither rescheduled nor refunded.
- All personal training sessions must be paid in full twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the first scheduled session.
- The cost of a multiple session package must be paid in cash, check, or credit card and is NON-REFUNDABLE.
- Sessions expire 3 months from the contract date.
