Wee Care is our FREE Babysitting Service for Members!

Our Wee Care child-watch is available…

To active YMCA members and their children or grandchildren
For children ages 6 weeks – 6th grade
Up to 2 hours per day per child

Monday-Friday: 8am-11am

Monday-Thursday: 4pm-7:15pm

Saturday: 9am-12pm


The Sterling-Rock Falls YMCA Wee Care child-watch is open to all active YMCA members.

Parents or guardians must sign in & remain inside the YMCA facility at all times while the child is in Wee Care. Only the member that signs the child into Wee Care may pick them up.

All children are required to wear socks in the child watch area.

No food is allowed inside the child watch area.

Staff will only redirect potential behavior issues. If the behavior continues to be an issue the parent/guardian will be asked to remove the child.

Parents/guardians will be contacted for diaper changes. Employees are not allowed to change diapers.

Please abide by our sickness policy. This is for the well-being of all children and staff.

Babysitters are not allowed to bring children in to Wee Care.

The Sterling-Rock Falls YMCA is not responsible for any lost or damaged toys.

YMCA Wee Care Sickness Policy

At the Y, the safety and well-being of your child or children is of the utmost importance to us. As a reminder to all parents of our sickness policy for the protection of your child and family, as well as our staff

Please do NOT bring your child in to Wee Care if your child has or shows signs of:

Cold with persistent, barking or productive cough with green or yellow phlegm
Yellow or green runny nose or eyes
Problems breathing or wheezing
Frequent scratching of scalp or body (as it could be caused by lice or ringworm)
Rash around mouth or on body
Vomiting or diarrhea
If your child has had any of these wait at least 24 hours before they return to Wee Care. If your child sees a doctor for their rash get their okay for your child to return, or wait 24 hours after rash is gone. We know that none of you want your family unnecessarily exposed to illness.
